Please Help Arabella,

The weekend before last,  Arabellas Father died suddenly and stunningly from complications of pneumonia after being hospitalized with  diabetes.
Her Mother died of cancer when she was 2.
A friend of her Mom (Dr. Roz) and myself , an old friend of her Dad,  have come together to try and help her.
She is 16 years old.  A minor child with no family here in California.
We are trying our best... but there is no will and few assets to speak of.
WE NEED HELP TO KEEP HER OUT OF "THE SYSTEM".
I don't have many assets myself but, I am willing to take legal guardianship of her until she reaches the age of 18.
This is a good young lady.  A minor child.
PLEASE HELP US KEEP HER IN HER HOME AND SCHOOL.

I'm  not a beggar...but I'm willing to beg for help in this.
Truth is...we have a long road ahead of us but we are headed in the right direction.
