I'm volunteering Again!

I am raising funds for Pastoral Del Amor located in Merida Yucatan MX, an orphanage located in centro. This is where I volunteer at.

Where your donation goes:

I assist abandoned special needs children and adults with both severe physical and mental handicaps.  I work along side the nuns and local volunteers, pictured below.
We provide the 'kids' with art projects and various forms of musical interaction to improve motor skills.  Some of the kids have muscular problems and need us to help assist in their physical therapy.  We feed them. By that, I mean that we physically have to spoon feed many of them a liquid diet. Some require us to tilt their head back, put a little spoonful in their mouth, then rub their throats to stimulate them into swallowing.
We also hug them when they cry. We hold their hands when they're lonely. We're always there to monitor them and make sure they stay hydrated (it gets up to 120°). Most importantly , we're there to show them they are loved. They don't have parents, so, we kind of fill that void in a sense. 

There's a lot more i do as a volunteer, but it changes every day.

A problem we face is the dyer need for basic everyday items at the orphanage. They are always in need of adult daipers, which are very expensive and are used by 75% of them. They also consistently need shoes, clothing, toothpaste, soap, fans, books, toys, art supplies, towels, cleaning products, furniture, food, toilet paper, batteries, clean drinkable water, maintenance work to the building, desks and chairs for the classroom, bedding, shampoo, Dr visits, dentist visits, etc.

There are also a couple of kids who desparately need major dental work. One in particular is a girl named Susi who is in so much pain that she tries to rip her gums and teeth out till she bleeds.
Its so terrible.

I'm not asking for myself. I am asking for those whom cannot take care of themselves... and also, Im asking for those of you who have always wanted to do something like this, but can't due to work or family. This is a great chance to get yourself involved while letting me do all the work!
Please donate what you can and share my campaign. I'm doing this all on my own and could really use the help. 

You might not know this, but volunteers pay out of pocket for the privelege to be a part of these progams. We have application fees, program fees, pay our own travel expenses , pay for background checks, etc.
We also have to fund our own living, food, utilities, and traveling expenses once in our selected country, among other things, which ends up taking a toll on us.
A year is a long time. 

You'd be surprised how far a small donation can go.
