Help this family with funeral costs

My name is Hassan Ibrahim. I arrived in the united states in August of 2014 together with my wife and five children.  At the time of our arrival two of my children had muscular dystrophy . My two sons were both wheel chair bound. Prior to that my family and I lived in 3 different refugee camps in three different African countries for 23 years. 25 days after arriving in the United states my only son Ahmed who did not have muscular dystrophy  who was thirteen at the time tragically drowned and died at the scene at the swimming pool at our apartment complex in Fort Worth Texas.

When we arrived in the United states only two of my children were suffering from Muscular dystrophy  Ibrahim (20) and Abdulahi (18). This means that my sons needed assistance with activities of daily living (eating, bathing dressing, toileting). In November of 2014 my 11-year-old son Khadar’s condition started getting worse. Within three months his health deteriorated and he was also wheel chair bound and needed as much daily assistance as my other two sons.

We worked hard to rebuild our lives after the loss of Our son Ahmed and illness of our son Khadar.  I started working full time and even acquired a vehicle, unfortunately in February of 2016 my car broke down on the side of the highway and I could not afford to get a new engine. As a result, I lost my job. I was the only employable adult as my wife had to care of our boys around the clock. This was the reason for my original appeal to get assistance to buy a wheel chair accessible vehicle for my children but life had other plans.

On the evening of 05/18/2016 My son Abdulahi suddenly lost consciousness after complaining about thirst and nausea. We rushed him to the local emergency room. Within a few hours our son Abdulahi was declared brain dead. At 6.59pm on 05/19/2016 we decided to take him off life support. We knew he was not there anymore. This was one of the most difficult things I have had to endure as difficult as our lives have been.

Due to the sudden nature of Abdulahi’s death we are not able to afford Janaza/Funeral expenses. We are also without a vehicle. I appeal to my brothers and sisters to help us during this difficult time. I pray God shows you the same mercy and compassion you show my family.
