Casper's Teet Yeet (FTM top surgery)

Hello & howdy! My name is Casper Oliver (he/they/fae). Mr. Queervallis Pride 2023, queer & disabled artist and activist in rural Oregon.

TL;DR - After 4 different consultations over multiple years, I FINALLY have a promising top surgery date. But this surgeon doesn't accept insurance, so I need to pay for this out of pocket. Any little bit helps. Final bill for top surgery: $11,090.

I'm a nonbinary trans man who's on his FOURTH attempt to try and get my top surgery. I have a NEW surgery date after moving to the other side of the country: December 20th, 2023! Unfortunately, the bill is due December 6th, the date of my pre-op appointment.

This will stay active after the appointments and surgeries to help us pay off medical debt and to cover living expenses.

This GoFundMe was set up years ago when I was first in the process of getting my top surgery. Unfortunately I've had to cancel previous surgeries due to health concerns or concerns about prior surgeons. My most recent date was supposed to be November 17th, but less than 24 hours before the operation we got a call from the clinic to say that they had fired my surgeon and they had to cancel my surgery. This all came after I was fired from my full-time job for calling out transphobia and mistreatment in the work place, so I'm still on the hunt for stable income.

My polycule helped me through the trauma of having this necessary operation ripped away from me once again, my wife helped me find a surgeon that could hopefully get us in before the end of the year. We were under the impression that this clinic would take our insurance, but unfortunately that isn't the case.

Every little bit will help as we work to pay this hefty bill off and help us feed ourselves and pay bills during recovery time. Thank you so much. <3
