Help Ms. Barbra stay safe

 Hurricane Laura made its landfall and destroyed SWLA, including Ms. Barbras apartment and life. Many people need help but I have this one lady in particular.. so today as I was volunteering serving food a man walked up before we started and asked us if it was possible if we could bring this lady that lives in the apartments across the street some food he said she was older and her whole apartment is damaged mold growing up walls all over the floor And he said that there is a possibility she will pass away there because she already has bad health issues and she refuses to leave because of her three cats so after we finished serving food we got a case of water and brought food we knocked on the door multiple times knocked on the window and also yelled through the door that we had food for her well knowing that when the guy said that there’s a possibility she could be dead in her not answering the door it scared us so we called the police to do a wellness check up on her they showed up ambulance showed up tried and tried to get her to open the door it came to them having to knock it down and when the door did open a flock of mosquitoes and flies came flying out the smell was so bad we could smell it across the parking lot they searched in there as best they could and did not see her the manager showed up and said they have not seen her in a week they told her she had to evacuate there is no way she can live and be able to be alive for much longer living in that situation they got a hold of her by calling she was on her way back to the apartments she went and got food she got back and she refused to leave because she has nowhere to go her family left her at two years Old and her grandparents raised her but they passed away she has absolutely no friends no family no social media just her three cats also has no job because of her health if anybody knows of a place she can stay with her three cats please let me know she has got to get out of there immediately i’m not sure how she is getting money I guess by checks from the government not too sure but she can afford to live in a house or apartment for $900 or less nothing absolutely nothing more And she also has no car my heart hurts for her I got her number and I will be looking around for places she can go because there is no way she can stay there I made this GoFundMe to help raise money to at least get her a hotel room somewhere for a few nights, she HAS to get out of there also the photo i used is not of her house or her, I don’t want to put her information out publicly for her safety.
