I am Jack Ramstad's mom and represent the family and friends who are determined to help Jack Fight Back.
Jack Ramstad is an elementary school teacher diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukemia, an aggressive and scary cancer.
He has good insurance and is facing his first round of chemo in great spirits. But Jack will not be able to stay in his home or care for himself after chemo and he will be facing a costly and life altering bone marrow transplant in the near future.
Jack has touched many lives through cross country running, gaming/ nerd stuff but mostly through his time and energy devoted to children. Jack has taught elementary Special Ed and is currently the elementary DAEP teacher at LISD Learning Center. Jack spent his college summers working at a camp for kids with disabilities.
