Sherif White Matters, Help Me Bring Him Justice!

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Renee White. I am fundraising for a few things. Justice For Sherif Sherif was an amazing brother, a loving son. A ladies man. He was so ahead of his time. He took the lead at a young age to help protect and provide for his siblings. We miss him so much. He didn’t deserve what happen to him. Please help share his story and help him find justice! He was murdered on June 7, 2007. He was only 17 years old when he was shot 9 times in his car, a block away from his home. He got caught up hanging with the wrong people from the hood, and tried to make fast cash with them, we was pretty much poor and he wanted to helped my mom put food on the table for us. Sherif wasn’t like them, he went to church, he had started out as a paper boy, and his first actual job was at McDonald’s. He wanted to go to college. He knew he was more than the street life. He wasn’t even violent or mean. He felt he had no choice, being that he had 6 siblings to look after and a mother with no type of support. So he made that choice of being in the streets. Those same people he chose to be down with, set him up and had him killed. They shot him 9 times. His so called friends did my brother so dirty and they got away with his murder. His case was never properly investigated by the lead detective and it went cold. I maybe saw her two times and then nothing. For 13 years he got nothing. I was 16 and pregnant when he was killed. A niece he will never know. Me and my siblings were moved to WA state after and had to carry on with life. We were so young, my mom was a baby when she had sherif at 14. She had 6 kids by the time she was 19, her mother died shortly after. So my mom didn’t know what to do or how to handle such lost. We was homeless for a while and stayed with our grandfather. Most of us divided up and struggled trying to find our way as we grew up to adulthood. After years of living with such heartache and my family being so divided I took it upon myself to rise up and fight for justice for black lives. I protested for weeks in WA when I realized my brother deserved so much better than what he got, and we deserved closure. (I’m hoping this will really help heal my mom.) so I mobilized back to Detroit. I packed up my home and quit my job and drove 2,000 miles to come here and fight for my brother. My daughter stayed with my mom, and this has been so hard being away from her. I have been protesting in Detroit, I created a petition to get his case opened and re-investigated. So I would like to put up billboards and really get his name and story out there. So many families suffered like we have, not knowing who killed your loved one is the WORST feeling ever. No family should have their loved one case under investigated. That brings me to this last reason I’m setting up this GoFundMe me. I been out here for two months and pretty much living off little money I had saved coming here and I’m couch benching right now. So anything to help me to continue this fight and bring justice to my brother and most importantly bring awareness to ALL unsolved black crimes, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much #justiceforsherif #blacklivesmatter
