<div>Hey there! Thank you for considering to donate to help me preserve the stories of the WWII veterans! Starting on New Year's Day 2025, I am also beginning a very special tour of America, in which I am driving in a van across all fifty of the United States state by state on a mission to interview a minimum of 5 WWII combat veterans per state within the year in honor of the 250th anniversary of the nations founding which is the same number of veterans I will be interviewing. I will be doing the whole trip relying on the generosity and kindness of Americans who will open their homes to me or by staying in the van. The goal is to not spend time in sterile hotel rooms but to showcase the beautiful tapestry of individuals, communities, and organizations that make up this country. I will be documenting this journey everyday and then the footage will be compiled into a film to be released in 2026 to showcase what makes this country great and how we can be united if we just look for the similarities. The news coverage would be instrumental in helping find WWII veterans, find organizations who want to help house me, and to fund this trip. I also now run a fairly popular <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@RememberWW2/videos" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">YouTube</a> and <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@rememberww2" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TikTok</a> channels called <strong>Remember WWII </strong>dedicated to these heroes. This fundraiser is going to support the costs of production, travel logistics, and providing copies of the interviews for them and their families.

<div>As mentioned, my name is Rishi Sharma ,I am a 27 year old from California and I am the founder of Remember WWII, a non-profit organization dedicated to filming in-depth video interviews with all the WWII combat veterans of the Allied Countries. Since December 2016 after graduating high school, I have interviewed just over 2,600 WWII combat veterans across all fifty states, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, New Zealand. I do not take any kind of salary and all donations/grant monies go directly to the travel of interviewing more heroes. I literally live out of rental cars to afford this. The veterans are all given free copies of the interviews for them and their families and Remember WWII has partnered with schools and universities across the world that have incorporated our testimonies into their Second World War curriculum.
