<div>Trinity is only 24 years old, but she has already overcome more than most people face in a lifetime.

<div>When she was just 2 months old, Trinity was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. She fought through treatment and survived.

<div>Then at 11 years old, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer. Once again, she fought with incredible strength and beat cancer for the second time.
</div>

</div>
<div>After everything she had been through as a child, we believed the hardest battles were behind her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But recently, our family was faced with a terrifying and completely unexpected medical emergency.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Just days ago, Trinity was a healthy young woman living her normal life. Suddenly, she began having trouble swallowing and speaking. While in the hospital, her symptoms quickly worsened. She became unable to swallow her own saliva, and her facial muscles became weak.
</div>

</div>
<div>Doctors had to place her on a ventilator to protect her airway.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After consulting with neurologists and specialists, Trinity was diagnosed with botulism, an extremely rare and life-threatening neurological illness caused by a toxin that blocks communication between nerves and muscles.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The doctors told us something we never expected to hear — none of the neurologists treating Trinity have ever seen a case of botulism in person. They have only read about it in medical textbooks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The life-saving antitoxin had to be rushed in from another state to stop the toxin from continuing to cause paralysis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Thankfully, Trinity received the antitoxin, which stops the toxin from progressing further. Now begins the long road to recovery.</strong> Because botulism blocks nerve function, her body must slowly rebuild new nerve connections before her muscles regain strength.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recovery from botulism can take weeks to months, sometimes longer, and often requires extensive rehabilitation and therapy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even through all of this, Trinity continues to show the same strength and resilience that helped her survive cancer twice as a child. She is already fighting hard every day to regain the basic abilities most of us take for granted — speaking, swallowing, and moving normally again.
</div>

</div>
<div>We are asking for help to support Trinity during this incredibly difficult time. As she focuses on healing, she will not be able to work, and medical expenses and living costs will continue to grow.
</div>
