Dear Donators,
My name is Domingos DaRosa, I live in Boston, Ma. I currently run the Boston Bengals program. I have spent the last 25 years helping families deal with life issues and find a better way of living. The Boston Bengals Pop-Warner Program is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to developing high-achieving student athletes who understand the value of education while practicing the principles of sportsmanship, responsibility, self-esteem, courage and discipline. The program builds character through academic commitment, community involvement and personal excellence. Our goal is to create an interlocking system of positive experiences for youth during their formative years to enable them to mature into productive adults. To achieve our goal we teach young student athletes how to channel their youthful energy in constructive ways through football, cheer and dance. The program builds a sense of self-discipline, self-respect, self-worth, community citizenship and personal excellence. We do this by focusing on the love of the sport, not the final score. Our coaches emphasize encouraging all our youth to put forth their best effort, show good sportsmanship, respect their opponents and teammates, coaches and parents. All of these values increase their self-esteem and promote the proper ethical and moral qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders, who envision and achieve productive futures.
The program is working to replace old football equipment including helmets, shoulder pads, cheer mats and other training equipment to ensure the safety of our children! With the national discussion regarding concussions and other injury we ask you for your support in raising needed funds to purchase new equipment.
