URGENT - Save Petey's Leg

Donation protected
Petey was thrown out the window of a moving car. He suffered a broken femur and blunt force to the head that caused an eye to pop out of the socket. Surgery to put the eye back in the socket went well. He has a 50/50 chance of sight in that eye. Total cost of the eye surgery and hospital stay is just over $1200. He still needs surgery to repair the broken femur, which will require a plate and pins. The leg surgery cannot be done until we raise the estimated cost of $2000.
A decision must be made by 6/3/13. If we cannot raise enough money for the surgery to save his leg, then it will have to be amputated.
All donations made to Happy Hearts are used 100% for the animals. We are a 501(c3) non profit corporation, there are NO salaries, and all donations are tax deductible.
If only 80 people donate $25, we will have enough to commit to the surgery. But, no donation is too small. Every amount helps and moves us closer to the goal. Please be a hero for Petey and help us save his leg.

Note: I goofed when building this page. I just edited a page we had used for Buddy (a German Shepherd). That's why it says the page is 3 months old and some of the donations are older. I'm still a little social media challenged. Sorry.
