FOUND, hurt, cocker spaniel

Hi everyone, this fundraiser is for a sweet Cocker Spaniel without a collar that was found at a construction site in Benson NC on September 8th. She had been attacked by something or someone, and was bleeding in several areas on her face, ears, neck and other parts of her body. She has been seen at this same site for the last two weeks and sleeping next to trash cans. I’ve called numerous vet offices that would not take her in to even look at her without a paid appointment. Luckily I came across a clinic with a nice lady that was willing to help us out and scan her to see if there was a microchip. Unfortunately, there was not. I took her home and we bathed her twice and trimmed her bc she had mats of fur, blood and who knows what all over her body. When we rolled her over, we noticed there was a large growth on her tummy. Unfortunately I do not have the funds to take her back to the vet, but she needs to be checked out. I am also looking for a foster home/forever home for her. I have not had any luck yet. She is such a sweet dog, loves everyone she has met and is good with other dogs. She is house broken and a very good girl. She would greatly appreciate any help on her road to recovery. If you know of anyone able to foster her or take her in, please let me know. She deserves a good home and happy life!!
