Weʼre raising £10,000 to Help feed our front line NHS workers one hot healthy meal each day throughout this coronavirus crisis.
Hi we’re Katy & Des and we are trying to raise £10,000 to help get hot meals delivered to our front line NHS staff.
Some of our NHS heroes are already working 15 hour shifts and the hospitals cafes and eateries are all shut at their place of work. As the crisis worsens over the coming days and weeks, these working hours are only going to get longer and longer for them. With the pandemic set to last the next few months at least, there is a real need to get hot food to our hero’s to help keep their strength and morale up - lets try and support them in anyway we can to say thank you.
We are heading a campaign with the aim to get as many hot meals a day into The Countess of Chester hospital for their staff and then hopefully provide across to other local hospitals and NHS establishments. The aim is to ensure as many staff as possible can get a hot meal during or after their shift. It’s hard enough for them to do their food shop in their own time at the moment, so all pull together & let’s help them out!
Nook Mortgages have pledged to provide meals for a whole week and so far local restaurants Wok & Go & Dough Dough Pizzeria have already committed to provide 50 meals every single day! We need your help and donations so we can make this happen and try to provide more meals to even more staff at more times during the day and send them to wider hospitals.
This is a not for profit in anyway and purely to deliver food to our heroic workers. Nobody is making any money out of this and any profits will go back into the NHS, so please give generously to help #feedourheros.
