Salaam everyone. I am trying to raise money for my cousins in Pakistan who do not have access to clean water. They have to walk a few miles everyday in order to get buckets of clean water from a communal pump and walk back to their house even in the extreme heat. Water should be easily accessible to everyone as it is a necessity and is required in order to survive. The father of my cousins has sadly passed away so they are struggling financially as no one in their household works so they live in very poor conditions and do not have money to build a well. This is why I am getting involved and with the help of everyone else, we can donate as much as we are able to and help them have access to clean water everyday. Regardless of where you are in the world or what you choose to believe in, everyone should recognise the importance of providing clean water to the needy. The act of assisting in building a water well is a form of sadqa jariyah in which you will benefit from in the grave. All donations are welcome and hugely appreciated. May your charity count on the day it is needed the most. Ameen.
