Want to support the LGBTQ+ community in MK and the surrounding areas?
Paul is raising money to secure the land bond for the Milton Keynes Pride festival 2021!!!!
They need to raise £1000 so please donate if you can! The Pride event is free and run by a non profit organisation, money needs to be raised to help the event go ahead.
So …….On Friday 2nd April 2021 Paul Biz (Sandy Flaps), who is also Pink Punters Entertainment & DJ Manager, will be doing a 24hour live drag DJ stream.

For those of you that have met Paul you will know just how much Pink Punters and Milton Keynes Pride Festival mean to him, here is a little bit about Paul:

Now at the age of 38 years young (he doesn’t look a day over 40),  Paul was a late comer to the ‘LGBTQ+ scene’. Like so many gay men he struggled to accept who he was inside, living in a tiny village where everyone knew everyone’s business made it harder to explore his feelings and added to the worry he would disappoint his family & friends. Paul hid away and made himself live the ‘straight’ life in the hope it would all work out.

Just after his 31st birthday he opened up and ‘came out’ which was a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. He now had the opportunity to become the person he knew he was inside and soon after coming out he discovered Pink Punters. He will tell you how Pinks ‘saved’ him from what was a very difficult time in his life.

Paul feels it is important to share his story and about having been in a heterosexual relationship, getting married, having 2 beautiful children but eventually finding the courage to be true to himself and his loved ones.  He still has an amazing relationship with his ex wife, they are the best of friends and she’s supported him through it all. He shares custody of his children and they are very proud of their Dad.

Milton Keynes Pride Festival holds an extremely special place in his heart as it was not only the first time he went out in drag, but more importantly, it was the first Pride that he attended along with his ex wife, her partner, his 2 sons and their 2 stepsister’s. Proving that love is all that really matters and we should be proud of who we really are.

Please help Paul to give back to the community and raise funds so that the Pride event can go ahead,  you never know ……….. it may be a special day for another gay man finally finding the strength to come out or a young  LGBTQ+ person,  who can go and see that they are normal.  A transgender person having their first time out in public as the person they feel they truly are but most of all that …... LOVE is LOVE!  ️‍
