24 Hour Run for Hope

Shriner's Hospital For Children...Crohn's & Colitis Foundation...Dementia Care...running. These are my passions.
On October 17 2020, I will combine these passions into something I never thought possible. I will run for 24 hours to raise awareness and funds for these 3 incredible causes!
While many people have run for 24 hours or longer, I have not. My longest run has been 31 miles over 12 hours as part of a relay team. There were breaks, air conditioning and food. Every child who has been treated at Shriner's Hospital for Children deals with their condition 24/7. Every person affected by Crohn's or Colitis deal with it 24/7. Every elder impacted by Alzheimer's and other forms of Dementia deal with it 24/7. So, I will run for 24 hours in honor of each and every one of them!
My hope is to raise awareness at least 24,000!
This will be the most difficult thing I have ever done. But, big challenges require big risks. I am willing to suffer hoping to slow and end the suffering by the kids, adults, and elders affected by such debilitating diseases.
