24-Hour Gaming Marathon for Mila ❤️
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well and that the new year has started off positively for you. For the past four years, I’ve dedicated my birthday week to doing what I can to support charities. Together, with your incredible help, we’ve raised a significant amount over the years. My way of giving back has often involved putting myself through a bit of suffering, taking on a 24-hour gaming marathon.
For someone over 35 who treasures their sleep, staying awake for that long feels like torture! But every time, it’s been worth it to make a difference.
This year, I’ve been approached by a few people asking for help, but one story really touched my heart: my old friend’s 2-year-old daughter, Mila. Mila is living with dystonic cerebral palsy, a condition that affects her muscle control and movement, causing stiffness and involuntary muscle contractions. Despite the challenges she faces every day, Mila’s smile lights up the world around her.
Mila’s family is working tirelessly to give her the best possible quality of life. One thing that could make a world of difference for her is a P-Pod positioning support chair. This special chair is designed to provide comfort, proper posture, and a safe space for Mila to relax, helping her body to rest and reducing the physical strain she experiences daily.
The cost of this chair is £709, and I’m determined to raise the funds to help Mila and her family get this life changing equipment. I know times are tough for everyone right now, but even the cost of a coffee or a takeaway meal could go a long way if we all come together.
I’ll be starting another 24-hour gaming marathon on Saturday, February 8th at 9 PM, streaming live on Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube. Every donation, big or small, will bring us closer to giving Mila the support she truly deserves.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for always supporting these causes with me. Let’s make this year extra special for Mila and her family.
