S(Tay) Strong

My girlfriend, Taylor has Stage 3 Hodgkin Lymphoma and will be finishing chemo in March.  The following month she will be traveling to Ohio to live with her grandparents for the whole month of April to get radiation treatment at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She has the oppurtunity to receive a new, advanced form of radiation called “Proton Therapy” and this is the only hospital in Michigan that has the facility. This type of radiation will be much less toxic to her heart and lungs, and body and has a higher percentage of keeping the cancer in remission. I’m going to need this girl around forever, so there’s no doubt she needs this treatment. Her and her family would never ask for handouts or money so I am creating this GoFund me for them. Not only are the bills from chemotherapy building up, but this treatment is very expensive and BARELY covered by insurance. They also want to be able to provide gas cards for the people already volunteering to drive her the hour and a half to the hospital, and the hour and a half home, 5 days a week, for 4 weeks. 

After having her life stopped and her path changed 3 weeks into college, she has kept an unbelievably positive spirit, fought this cancer so hard and has shown a strength I can not comprehend. Please consider donating, anything helps. Thank you!
