Education Fund For Alex

On September 1, 2018 Alex tragically and unexpectedly lost her father, who died from pancreatic cancer after being diagnosed for only one week. Such a sudden and heartbreaking loss devastated Alex’s family. Alex was very close to her father. He was her confidant, her cheerleader, her soulmate. He was also her sole source of financial support.

I am a close family friend. Our daughters spent their childhoods together and continue an extremely close bond into adulthood. I lost my husband to cancer less than a year ago, and I understand what Alex’s family is going through. We started this fundraiser for Alex’s education expenses to help ease the financial stress as Alex’s family navigates through this shocking loss. Our goal is to raise 42,880.00 which is a cost of a one-year tuition at Berkley College of Music, Alex’s dream school. She is also considering other schools as her second and third choice if she doesn't raise enough money.  She will also have to take loans in addition to the money we raise, but the loans never cover 100%, more like 50%. There is also room and board to consider as well. 

All donations will be put in an irrevocable trust for Alex’s sole benefit. Your support will help provide stability, security, and resources for Alex and her family while they navigate through this difficult experience. Thank you for your generosity.
