Women in over 42 countries will join together March 8th as part of the International Women's Strike! We’re striking for an END TO violence against women & children, poverty, deportations, discrimination, exploitation, criminalization, and war! We strike FOR reproductive justice for ALL, labor rights and a living wage for ALL including mothers and caregivers, FULL social services, environmental justice; an anti-racist & anti-imperialist Feminism.
In Los Angeles, women & men will come together at the Downtown LA Federal Building, 3-6pm, in solidarity with women around the globe. Music, speakers, an indigenous-led ceremony and more will call for A Caring Society-- A Feminism of the 99%!
As grassroots women representing different communities who havecome together to hold this event, w urgently need your solidarity to fund the logistics & promotion of this action. Please contribute what you can and spread word of this campaign to all your networks.
