Your support of the We Cancerve Movement's Goals for Grace 2018 was huge! With your help, we were able to send a check of $5,415 to Sinai hospital in Baltimore in 2018. Let's see if we can best that in 2019!
For the 2019 Goals for Grace Penalty-Kick Soccer shootout, we're aiming to raise $6,000! We believe we can do this. To date, we've donated almost $12,000 to the We Cancerve Pediatric Patient Assistance Fund, which helps parents cover expenses associated with caring for a sick child. This fund will help moms and dads pay for parking during hospital and other medical appointments; food when siblings or when mom and dad have to be at the hospital with the sick child; gas for the vehicles or funds to pay for ride share services like taxis to the hospital; restaurant gift cards to ease the burden on families when they returned home and need to feed their families; and other gift cards to cover costs associated with other needs like he counter medicines and prescriptions not covered by insurance. Sometimes, this fund is used to give that sick child something special like new pajamas or special slippers or whatever a gift card just for the patient can cover to bring that child happiness. Our patient assistance fund has also covered medical bills that parents couldn't afford to pay.
This patient assistance fund helps families focus on their ill children without worrying certain expenses.
