MISSION TO MUMBAI

Donation protected
Well, how to  start... I'm Sam. The majority of you who visit this website might know my parents better; Doug and Shay Damaske. I'm in my eighth grade year at Forestwood Middle School, but I've got a pretty mature thing I'm asking for.
You see, my church(Cross Timbers Community Church's Argyle Campus) is taking 7 kids on a mission trip to Mumbai, India, to help spread the love of God. As great as that sounds, there's a fee of $3,500 that I have to compensate to cover the cost of plane tickets, visas, hotels, and food.
Seeing as I'm in the 8th grade, I can't really raise that money on my own. This is where you generous people come in.
I'm asking, if at all possible, that you would please donate to my cause. No matter how small it may seem, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
What you may be asking yourself at this time (which is expected) "Why do I want to use my money for a cause I'm not even completely sure about? He's a teenage boy, this could just be some prank... Punk kids." (For one, I can't even explain the world of trouble I'd be in if I tried scamming you out of your money. Two, if you'd like to look into the mission organization we're partnering with, Sower of Seeds, their website is www.sowerofseeds.org)
As far as what we're doing and where we're going, we are going to the slums and poorer areas of Mumbai, India. While we're there, we're going to bring some happiness and a little bit of the Holy Spirit to these slums, and let them know that they have not been forgotten. We'll be bringing some toys and candy with us to give to the children there as well.
We also go to see how much we've helped with the clean water we've made an effort to give. The Red Project, which we do every year, helps to drill water wells over in the slums to provide clean water and save lives. Clean water. Something we take for granted; something we can go to our sinks and fridges for, is something they have to struggle to get everyday. Crazy, right?
Sorry, I'm getting a little off-track. My main point here is that I would sincerely appreciate any sort of financial help that any of you could offer. If you don't have the money to spare, I completely understand. (I'm in the same position you are. Otherwise, I wouldn't be asking. *insert some kind of sympathetic wink face here*)
I appreciate you taking the time to read this; and would appreciate it even more if you would help me reach this goal. Thank you all very much!
