Laura and Nina first connected with one another on Instagram on February 18th, 2019, through mutually following each other. Laura is from Baden-Württemberg, Germany, while Nina is from Virginia, USA. Ever since that evening of talking with one another through direct messages on Instagram, Laura and Nina have been communicating with each other every day since then. They are 4,000+ miles away from each other. They first met on July 15th, 2019, at Orlando International Airport. After two days of being together on Laura’s 10 day visit to see Nina in Florida, Laura asked Nina if she wanted to be her girlfriend. Ecstatically, Nina said yes. Their love and affection for one another kept growing every day of being together. The next time that they had met was in January of 2020. Nina had visited Laura for 9 days, traveling from Dulles Airport to Stuttgart. The time they had spent together over winter break was extraordinary and enhanced their relationship dramatically. Now, as of August 2020, with COVID-19 getting in the way of Laura’s planned surprise visit in May 2020, Laura and Nina have not seen each other for more than seven months. The long distance has been incredibly hard on both of them. Nina is planning to move to Germany after she graduates from university in May of 2022. She attends George Mason University and is majoring in Art with a concentration in Photography. Laura is going back to school in September of 2020 and will be working toward a Meisterschule diploma in Tailoring — a German equivalent to an American Bachelor’s degree. Nina and Laura will both be having part-time jobs while in school. We are humbly asking for any financial assistance so that Nina may move to Germany to be with Laura right after she graduates. Nina is planning to save at least $20,000 dollars to move to Germany. Nina and Laura are hard-working, diligent, and blessed individuals. They have felt like they have met their soulmate, and being in an LDR with one another has positively impacted both of their lives through their gained strength and resilience. Nina wants to live with Laura in Germany and experience what it’s like living in Germany, with her dear significant other, Laura. They want to close the distance and move in together. Help Laura and Nina make their dreams of living in Germany together and closing the distance into real life! Any amount is appreciated! Thank you to everyone — and much love to all other couples who are working on closing the distance with their LDR partner.
