Refurbish the Kosher Bakery

My name is Roz Bratt and I am the  owner of Homemade Goodies by Roz. I have been at 510 South 5th Street for over19 years now. We have been Kosher and all non dairy for about 8 of those years. I am the only Kosher, Pas Israel Bakery in the entire center city area. We are supervised by Community Kashrus of Greater Philadelphia.

I am looking for support from the community to get my floor in the bakery replaced, repaint all the walls from front to back and repair the refrigerator case that keeps all of our goodies cold for you to enjoy. The floors are over19 years old and the refrigerator case is the same. We could use the money as soon as possible so we can get the work done. It will create a fresh look before the Jewish Holidays arrive.

The money that I make is used for payroll, bills and daily operations. This is why there are no funds left to refurbish the bakery. Nineteen years is a long time not to be able to freshen up the bakery. The bakery is my baby to service the Jewish and Non Jewish community. We want our customers to feel at home in a freshened up place to enjoy all of our goodies. The funds that we receive from the great people that support us will mean so much to us.
