Mim's Trek to make an Impact

For those of you that know me, you know that I have been chasing a life of adventure since I left my hometown of Brisbane in 2001.
After spending many years abroad, I recently reached a point where I knew my travels needed to serve a greater purpose. With a passion for hiking, paired with a strong desire to make an impact; I have decided to dedicate my Everest Base Camp trek to the foundation, Doctors Without Borders. This organization implements and manages medical projects in nearly 70 countries worldwide where no health or sanitary systems exist.
Support is needed in Burma, where both my parents immigrated from and alot of my extended family still remains. I know assistance with funding is just the first step, but if it is the start to making a lasting impact, I want to be apart of it.
It is generous people like you that can make a huge difference in making it possible for Doctor's Without Borders to provide individuals and families in need with medical assitance and critical services in not only Burma but other developing countries too.
As part of the participation in this trek, I have committed to raising $4,500.00 by October 5th, 2016 which will be donated directly to Doctor’s Without Borders. To find out more about the projects you'll be supporting, check out:
