He Needs Me !!!

A Mother's job is to Always be there for there children, protect them ,shelter them ,feed them an most of all never give up on them even when they might give up on them selves. My son Joel is 14 an has been through the storm an back he was diagnosed with W.P.W ( Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome ) when he was only 18 days old after coding in my arms he had to go through so much with that problem alone .On top of him having a heart problem he had Asthma ,ADHD and Twitches which stopped him from doing what he wanted to do the most because he was often hospitalized . All he wanted was to play football an be a normal kid , He has been told his whole life he can't do this or that an finally when he was told at 13 that he could do all the things he wanted after undergoing heart surgery he was the happiest I have ever seen him. But now only a year later we find out that all this time he has had a problem called Spinal Stenosis which means his spinal cord didn't have room to grow . So Joel had to have a laminectomy done to remove some bone an tissue to make room for his spinal cord , which we thought went fine but Joel developed a lot of scar tissue which was pressing down on his nerve's from this happening he got something called spasisity Which makes his muscles constantly contract hindering him from walking they removed the scar tissue an placed some rods an pins in his kneck to prevent this from happening again . I as a mother had to watch the tears Fall from my sons face when i had to tell him he would have to have another surgery an that  he would never be able to play football. To hear my son blame me for allowing this to happen to him crushed me because as a mother I was constantly reassuring him he would be okay an now I don't know if that is true. Joel has to go to a rehab facility In Rochester to get him back walking again an I would like to be there with him every step of the way to help him . I have two younger daughters an bills that have to be paid i also have to create a safe place for him to come home too an I can't afford to this or take the time off from work with out the funds to do so . this is why I am asking for your help because at this point all my son wants is to get better so that he can at least make it to the Disney trip we paid to go on this summer . I am asking u to give what ever u can to help me be by my sons side to gain his trust back an to reassure him that the fight is not over the devil will never win that god has something much better in store for him an that is him walking again.
