Helping a friend in dire need!!

I am trying to raise funds to support my friend Abozain who is from Khan Yunis, Palestine. Zain is the primary caregiver to his disabled sister, who became quadriplegic after she was involved in a vehicle accident as his parents are elderly and unable to care for her.

Since the conflict started, he has had his home destroyed (twice) and been living in a tent while his sister and parents were being treated at the al-Amal Red Crescent hospital. When the hospital became unusable in February, he led his family unit from Khan Yunis to Deir al-Balah on foot while pushing his sister in a hardly usable wheelchair.

The situation deteriorated from there because he had 20 family members, most children under 12, now occupying a single tent and basic necessities such as food, water, medication, and pull-ups were unavailable or available at extorted prices. In April, he was able to find a two-room apartment that could house everyone, but no sooner had they moved in when that building was destroyed and all were forced to return to Khan Yunis and the tent.

Now in June, there seems to be no end in sight and he is desperate to try anything so I offered to set up a crowd fund. He cannot set one up as his country is not supported on the platform. Funds will be deposited in my account and I will get them to Zain.

I met Zain two years ago as we played an online game together. I had no idea where he was from. Once the conflict broke out, I was worried for him and reached out when he quit playing. Only then did I realize he was in the red zone. He has gone through unbelievable hardship the last 8 months but has not given up hope. As summer is upon us, the tents are no longer suitable for habitation. He wants to use the funds to build a temporary habitation and build an energy generating solar system for his family so they can purify water, access the internet and have a laundry service.
