Update: First off, we want to say thank you to every single one of you who have supported us throughout this hard time. My dad passed away on November 3rd. He had left to California in hopes of finding help, once he did, his body could not take anymore. He received a temporary heart mate pump to try and stabilize him and help his organs get a little bit better from all the medication but they were not able to get him stable enough for surgery. My dad fought so hard till the very end. All the donations that have been received will be covering his transportation back to Colorado, his funeral services and help my mom and sisters get back on their feet. My husband, Frank Trujillo has been helping us get the funds. Thank you so much for everything from the bottom of our hearts. El había recibido una pompa de corazón temporal en lo que su cuerpo se componía y sus órganos mejoraban por todo el médicamente y tiempo enfermo. Pero no se pudo estabilizar lo suficiente para otras cirugías. El lucho hasta el final. Todo el dinero que a sido donado ahora va a ser para el transporte de mi papá a Colorado, Sus Servicios funerales, y ayudar a mi mamá y hermanas. Mi esposo, Frank Trujillo, nos a estado ayudando con los fondos. De el fondo de mi corazón muchas gracias por todo el apoyo recibido, estamos tan agradecidas. ——————————————— Hello Everyone, As some of you may know, my dad has been extremely ill. Approximately 2-3 months ago, he got really sick and was told he had a bacteria in his stomach. As the days went by, we noticed he didn’t get any better and due to the severity of the issue he was hospitalized last month. For an unknown reason the bacteria started causing heart failure. My dad had an open heart surgery in the past so this is a major problem. The doctors are not 100% sure what caused it but his heart is not doing good or getting better. The medicine he is on at the hospital is what is keeping his heart going. After speaking to the doctors today, 8/4/20 the next steps would be to get him an LVAD surgery that can cost up to $200,000 while he is on the list for a heart transplant. Without this, he doesn’t have much time left. He will need to stay on the medication that is making his heart work and this will cost $2,000 per month. My dad was the sole provider for my mom and to younger sisters (ages 17 and 8). We are doing what we can to help provide but we cannot afford the surgery or the medication for him to have it at home. I know times are extremely hard right now but if there is any way you could give a small donation or share this, it would mean the world to us. We are hoping this can help us afford his medications, any treatments and help my family with essential expenses. Thank you to all who have been helping and donating.
