Sunday April 3rd was the day our lives changed forever. Just a few days after his 55th birthday, our dad was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma, a very aggressive cancerous brain tumor. It is incurable; no one can say how much time he has.
Our dad, Mark, is one of the most hardworking selfless people we know. He never gave up on his dreams. He supported my mom, me, and my four siblings with his construction business that he started himself from the ground up. Our dad is self-employed and the sole owner of his construction company, and currently can not work. He does not have health insurance and the medical treatments he needs are very expensive. He underwent brain surgery to remove a portion of his tumor, but there is a large piece left that is inoperable. We are hoping with chemotherapy and radiation the tumor will shrink, so he has as much time with us as possible.
