Robyn's Husband's Fund

Welcome everyone! My name is Pete Doyle and I am raising money on behalf of Robyn Fritz, Michael Fritz and family. Robyn is a collegue of mine at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in Atlanta. Robyn is a terrific life sciences producer and on Tuesday, April 19 Robyn's husband, Michael, was in a terrible motorcycle accident. Michael was not at fault for the accident and was inadvertantly struck by a vehicle causing significant brain trauma.

Michael is currently at Shepherd's Hospital and is expected to be at Shepherd's Hospital for the next 3-6 weeks. Michael is in stable condition yet he doesn't have full brain function. Michael is undergoing signficant physical and occupational therapy. Once Michael is released from the hospital, he will continue to require therapy in an effort to fully recover from the accident. We are all hopeful Michael will make a full recovery, but in order to do so it will require significant cost to the Fritz family. The type of services required are not covered by health insurance, and unfortunately the vehicle causing the accident had minimum insurance limits.

The funds raised by our efforts will be used to pay for healthcare treatment, lost wages and future lost wages. Michael is an electrician and his return to work is dependent upon the care he receives in the next 6 months. The healthcare related services cost for Michael's will be needed as soon as he leaves the hospital (this is when the majority of non-covered healthcare costs will begin).

Robyn is a wonderful part of Gallagher team in Atlanta. Her son, Corey, was and is a summer intern. As most of you know, Robyn is fighting her own courageous battle with breast cancer. It is times like these when families like Robyn's need our help, and I am hopeful all of you will join me in supporting Robyn in anyway possible. Thank you for any and all help you can provide.
