Nathan Waters, originally from Kuttawa, KY, is a teacher who has been living in Beijing, China for nearly 5 years.
On Thursday, June 1st, Nathan experienced a stroke that led to a very serious brain bleed. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where doctors haves worked tirelessly on him since his admission.
So far, Nathan has been through two surgeries, the first, was a 7 hour surgery to remove a massive hematoma caused by the aneurysm; the second, was a 9 hour surgery to treat for additional areas which showed bleeding on his brain.
Unfortunately, these treatments have not been as effective as we had hoped. As of right now, Nathan remains in critical condition.
Nathan has a phenomenal team of doctors working on him and they are closely monitoring his status and providing around the clock care. However, with this superb care comes a hefty medical bill.
We are asking for your assistance to help ease the financial burden on the family.
The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out and offered assistance. Your love and support for Nathan has been overwhelming and extremely touching. We ask that you continue to pray for Nathan and his loved ones, as we navigate through this difficult time.
