The next chapter.....yoga

All of you that are reading this know me enough to know that Anthony is my world. I made him so much my world that I began to lose myself. In and out of depression, anxiety consumed me. I ate my way through the last two years and that made my emotions even more all over the place. I reached a point in my sobriety where I was searching for more. I recently got called a "seeker" and I think that is a beautiful way to describe me. Another layer, another chapter, another level of awareness.....
In January I joined LifeTime Fitness. A friend invited me to join her in Team Fit (a group of women working out together led by an amazing woman that truly cares about people and their health). I did, and have gone ever since. I wasn't all in at first. But after a while I started realizing I felt better. Another dear friend talked me into going to a yoga class. This is where the magic really began.....
I left that class feeling amazing and realizing that I had not felt that peaceful in years. I had not given an hour to myself...just me...in many years. With yoga, for one hour a day, I learn to be present for me. I have learned that I haven't been breathing and that when I do breathe, I am free. Life still happens but I can breathe through the hard parts and truly see the gifts in everything. I'm a better mother, wife, and human being when I do yoga. Vibration was high and I was approached by a fellow yogi about yoga teacher training.....what a fantastic idea.....
I want to learn more, to grow more, to explore this path in detail. I want to help others to discover this peace. I am here for a reason. Please help me to find out why!
The next training is in August. This gives me a few months to get everything in place so that I can continue my current job, do more with my nursing degree, be present for my family and continue to grow spiritually.
Asking for help, in this way, is way out of my comfort zone but it's my only option right now.
