My name is Brandon Hayes and I am from Chicago, Illinois. I have cooked for 7 years, since i was 15 years old. I started culinary arts as a sophomore at Simeon Career Academy. Senior year I was apart of a program that offered scholarships to culinary schools through cooking competitions. Through these competitions i received a scholarship for my Associate's Degree, which i have obtained, to the Culinary Institute of America. The goal now is to seek out a bachelors degree at the same school.
This fundraiser has been created to raise money for my tuition at The Culinary Institute of America, agruably one of the best culinary schools in the world. BUT, I have run into a financial hurdle that i need your help overcoming.
7,002 will go towards my first semester
7,252 will go towards my second semster
With the funds raised, the money will be put towards my balance and my junior year will be covered.
I have choosen this school to obtain my Bachelors in Culinary Management/Culinary Science with concentration in Farm-to-Table because the programs offered here puts me in a position to conquer my goals in this industry. This school has one the best programs established in the country. I am here simply because I want to be the best.
It would be great to reach my goal through this fundraiser and that is the objective, but collectively. What ever help you can offer, $1, $5, $10, or more, your contributions would be a tremendous help and greatly appreciated.
