Karen’s Hospital Bills

Karen fell in the mud on March 11th and broke her leg which resulted in an emergency room visit and then later surgery to put in a plate and screws. After all this we thought she was on her way to full recovery, when she had a very weak spell and was taken to ER again. She had a blood clot go through heart and is in her lungs and is what they call a saddle clot. There is only a 10% survival rate of people who experience this. This blood clot resulted in another 4 day hospital stay in ICU. Karen had plans to go back to work on the Monday  that she ended up in the hospital. The bills are very overwhelming and at the age of 24 there is no way to pay for it on her own.
