Medical Fund

Being diagnosed with a life threatening disease was never on my radar. Here we are 15 yrs later and almost 9 yrs post liver transplant due to my autoimmune liver disease (AIH). I am thankful that the Affordable Care Act was established but in the same breath it has been a thorn in my side for the past six months. Due to an error on their part, I am faced with the financial burden of several medical bills that were not covered for the month of January. I am currently working 3 jobs to make ends meat and take care of our basic needs. These last 6 months have been some of the most stressful in my entire life. Having to also worry about a second liver transplant is making it difficult to work these 3 jobs. Having to ask for help is something I never imagined I would have to do. Our family would be so grateful for any amount assistance through this difficult time.
