I need to tell you a story about my friend and how your help can make such an amazing difference. Andrew MacDonald and I met when we were in our teens. Andrew had several great passions Baseball, Football and cars. On one summer day he drove past the car of his dreams and after some negotiation Andrew was able to make that car his own. So with the aid of his brother they towed that 66 Box Nova back to his home. That was many years ago all the while the plan was to restore this beauty back to original glory. Time is a thief and life shows us many roads. He met a girl! He started a family! As a brick layer he worked hard and time rolled on. Andrew with his strong passion for sports couched little league and every other sport his children took an interest in. So now with even his free time spoken for the 66 Nova sat and became furniture. Years later Andrew and family picked up roots and moved to Pennsylvania. The 66 Nova dragged to its new home in the mountains. Then last year came the news nobody should have to deal with came. Cancer and not the friendly kind, so in between Chemo and Radiation there is still a passion to see his dream on the road. Last week a few of Andrews close friends came together and spent the day with our friend. As we listened to him go on about his desire to put his son in the passenger seat and scream down the block. We realized that we needed make this happen. Andrew has spread more joy and laughs to everyone he has ever met, how could we not try. Please give us a hand and make a Dream come true!
