<div>Hi my name is Maria Anevret from Sweden. I am 33 years old and is trying to help civilians in Gaza. For this fundraiser  I am helping the Labad family in Gaza who has lost everything. including family members. The purpose is to help these civilians achieve their goal which is so that the family can be able to live with dignity which include: being able to afford to rebuilt their life, getting food and medicine. The kids who has survive are Reem Lambda is 1,5 years old, Muhammad Labad is 13 years old and the youngest boy Karam Lambda is 9 years old.

<div>Welcome, kind-hearted friends,

<div>This is Abeer, a 40-year-old Palestinian woman from the Gaza Strip speaking to you —
</div>
<div>a mother of three surviving children and grandmother to little Reem, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl who is the heroine of our story and our source of inspiration.
</div>

</div>
<div>On a dark night, Reem — the tiny toddler — clutched her old doll in her arms as if trying to find in it some warmth of her mother’s embrace. A mother who has been absent since war tore through their city and killed her inside their tent.
</div>
<div>Reem couldn’t fully grasp the meaning of loss, but her little heart felt the emptiness. Her sad cries carried the weight of days filled with pain.
</div>

<div>No one could understand how such a small child could bear all that suffering, yet she taught us one thing:
</div>
<div>That love is stronger than war, and memories remain even when bodies are gone.
</div>

</div>
<div>The war came like a storm, sweeping through Reem’s young life and changing everything in her barely-formed world. After losing her mother, the house became quieter, and sorrow took permanent residence in our hearts.
</div>

</div>
<div>I, the grandmother — who tried to fill the mother’s absence — found myself facing an enormous responsibility.
</div>
<div>Not only to care for Reem, but also to hold together the shattered pieces of our exhausted family and the other three children.
</div>

</div>
<div>The entire family’s life changed drastically. Finding a bite to eat became harder, and fear of the future grew stronger.
</div>
<div>And yet, love remained the one thing that never left.
</div>
<div>Despite all we lost, we made sure that Reem stayed surrounded by love, hoping it could be a shield protecting her from the cruelty of life.
</div>

<div>And despite it all, Reem never lost her spark. She sees hope in the smallest things — in my smile to her, in the morning breeze carrying warm memories, and in the bedtime stories I tell her about her mother.

<div>Those small details became a form of silent resistance — proof that the human spirit can endure, even under the harshest conditions.
</div>

<div>Losing my daughter, Reem’s mother, was a wound that will never heal.
</div>
<div>I carry it in my heart like someone holding the ashes of memory in trembling hands. It wasn’t just a normal parting — it was a brutal uprooting from life, leaving a hollow that time cannot fill.

<div>I still see my daughter’s reflection in Reem’s eyes, I hear echoes of the past in her laughter, and I live each day torn between pain and hope.
</div>

<div>But despite the pain, this child has become my second soul — the only thing that gives me a reason to keep going.
</div>
<div>Now, I see in her the continuation of my daughter’s life.
</div>
<div>My love for Reem comes from a deep desire to hold on to a part of the one I lost.

<div>And so, amid the destruction, I built a fortress out of love for her.
</div>
<div>I’ve learned to look forward, even though my heart still clings to the past.

<div>In the end, after hearing the story of orphaned and hungry Reem,

<div>I hope you will extend a helping hand to me and her grandfather, so that we can rebuild her life — and the lives of my children, which have been completely destroyed.

<div>في ليلةٍ مظلمة ، كانت ريم، الطفلة الصغيرة ذات العام ونصف، تحتضن دميتها القديمة بين ذراعيها، وكأنها تحاول أن تجد فيها بعضًا من دفء حضن والدتها التي غابت عنها منذ أن عصفت الحرب بمدينتهم وقتلت أمها داخل خيمتهم، لم تكن تدرك تمامًا معنى الفقد، لكن قلبها الصغير كان يشعر بالفراغ، وكان بكاؤها الحزين يحمل وجع الأيام .

<div>لم يكن أحد يعلم كيف يمكن لطفلة صغيرة أن تحتمل كل هذا الألم، لكنها علمتهم شيئًا واحدًا أن الحب أقوى من الحرب، وأن الذكريات تبقى حتى لو غابت الأجساد.

<div>كانت الحرب بمثابة عاصفة اجتاحت حياة ريم الصغيرة، غيرت كل شيء في عالمها الذي بالكاد بدأ يتشكل بعد فقدان والدتها، أصبح البيت أكثر صمتًا، وأصبح الحزن ضيفًا دائمًا في قلوب أفراد العائلة.

<div>أنا الجدة، التي كانت تحاول تعويض غياب الأم، وجدت نفسها في مواجهة مسؤولية كبيرة، ليس فقط في العناية بريم، ولكن أيضًا في الحفاظ على شتات الأسرة المنهكة وباقي الأطفال الثلاثة .

<div>ورغم كل هذا، لم تفقد ريم بريقها لأنها ترى الأمل في الأشياء الصغيرة في ابتسامتي لها في نسمات الصباح التي تحمل معها ذكريات دافئة، وفي قصص عن والدتها كنت أحكيها لها قبل النوم كانت تلك التفاصيل الصغيرة بمثابة مقاومة صامتة، دليلًا على أن الإنسان قادر على الاستمرار حتى في أصعب الظروف.

<div>كان فقدان ابنتي والدة ريم بمثابة جرح لا يندمل، حملته في قلبي كما تحمل رماد الذكريات في يدين مرتعشتين لم يكن مجرد فراق عادي، بل كان اقتلاعًا من الحياة، ترك في روحي فراغًا لا تسده الأيام ، كنت وما زلت أرى انعكاس إبنتي في عيني إبنتها ريم، وأسمع في ضحكاتها صدى أصوات الماضي، وأعيش كل يوم وكأنه صراع بين الألم والأمل.

<div>لكن رغم الألم، أصبحت الطفلة روحي الثانية، الشيء الوحيد الذي يمنحني سببًا للاستمرار ، الأن أرى فيها امتدادًا لحياة ابنتي ، وأن حبي لريم نابعًا من رغبتي في الحفاظ على جزء من تلك التي فقدتها وهكذا، وسط الدمار، صنعت من حبها حصنًا، تعلمت أن أنظر إلى الأمام، وإن كان قلبي لا يزال معلقًا بالماضي
