MISSION
In an effort to honor our local Veteran population and encourage community relationships with a populace being devastated by a tragic suicide rate, This Little Doggie Stayed Home will be hosting an all-inclusive, Basic Obedience Behavior Bootcamp Course (BOBBC) for 22 Veterans and their dogs.
SITUATION
Each day, 22 Veterans take their own lives. We hope that our efforts raise awareness to this tragic battle and demonstrate to our Veterans that we care by building lasting relationships with local heroes of our community.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
"22 Veterans, 22 Canines; 1 Purpose" will be a day of coming together to give back to our Veteran community. We will empower them with the knowledge, tools and guidance to effectively communicate, better understand and enhance the bond with their canine companions. We are honored and excited about the opportunity to serve the Veterans in our community, but are unable to do so without your help!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Our $5000 goal includes all of the training tools we will need, feeds our Veterans and ensures we have a space large enough to help them with their dogs. We will be inviting 22 Veterans and their canine companions to spend the day with us and are grateful to be able to honor them in this way. No amount of generosity is too small to help us thank our Veterans! Thank you for your support!!
