When I was 10 years old my life took a turn a turn, in the class where I was studying appeared a sport teacher who was looking for boys to play in local football team, I was one of the boys selected and I accepted to take part because it an opportunity to improve and develop football skills.
My major challenge was the permission from my parent to study alongside be part of the football team. In my community we had six recognized football team, which I took as a challenge upon myself, we had the opportunity to take part in the inter-state competition held in Abuja the state capital, i was among the silver wear players, that was when my passion for sport grew stronger.
I considered the competition as one of the most interesting experience of my life, even if I was only 10 years old, the competition had a great impact on me. I was determined to turn my hobby into a career. It has been 7years on the pitch, I can vividly say it’s part of me now. During these years when I played in different championship, I have gained the opportunity to meet different type of human characters, and I learned how to socialize with variety of people.
In 2019 I was sponsored by a non-profit organization to take part in a football development camp organized by FCV academy United Kingdom. It was a great accomplishment.
My parent key into my vision. Dad thought me that sport doesn’t mean only physical efforts, it also means dedication, passion and intellect.
I was offered admission to study BSc sport management at the university of Worcester United Kingdom. I am determined to start the battle between who I am now and who I want to be.My major goal in life is to progress in my chosen career, competing in a fair spirit and team work, capable to face new challenges, experience in my field and attain a high level of education.
