Neill’s Road to Recovery ...
Last month Lee's partner and soul mate Neill had a heart attack at work. He was on a ventilator in ICU for three weeks and the prognosis at that time was not good. But even in the face of such adversity, Lianne never gave up hope for the love of her life and she has kept her attitude positive throughout. Neill also rose to the challenge and against the odds, since the ventilator was removed nearly two weeks ago, he has continued to breathe on his own.
The doctors have done all that they can and now it is up to Neill. Lee has been working with him on his speech and movement, and Neill continues to make good progress. He has surprised everyone and taken some encouraging steps in the right direction on his road to recovery. It is going to be quite a journey
Others in similar situations have achieved great results and as you know, Neill is extremely strong, and stubborn. He can do this! Research has shown the best outcomes will occur with intensive therapy over the next three months.
Many of you have asked how you can help. It is a difficult thing for us to ask for help but if you could give a little, that will help with rehab activities and take some pressure off for a while so Lee can focus on working with Neill during his journey
Your kind thoughts and positive energy have made a huge difference and helped Lee and Neill stay strong during the process of healing - thank you all so much.
May Lianne’s unwavering support, beautiful spirit and incredible love continue to be an inspiration to us all ....
