Help Support Christine's Journey

As many of you are well aware of, Christine Joy is a lovely lady, so full of life, and a great friend to everyone. She would always greet you with a smile and was always there when someone is in need. She has been a nurse for more than a decade and has worked in prestigious hospitals like Philippine Heart Center, Medical City, Trinity College and she last worked in Montefiore Medical Center as ER Nurse. She was very dedicated to her work and she has tons of friends. I am among the many lucky friends that she had met in new york later in life, along with Sani, Brenna, and Relly...and I am sure most of you reading this are also either a very good friend of hers or likely a family to her...some were nurses that she worked with and coworkers in medical field that she dearly loved....
Last December 9, 2015, tragedy struck her and was found unresponsive in her apartment and was hospitalized for weeks....she is currently residing in a nursing home with a trache and peg since early this year.
And because of the complexities of CJ's brain injuries, it made her unable to walk, unable to respond and has very limited movements on all extremities...but she still has a smile on her face and she will definitely recognize you and laugh with you when u come to visit...and through all these, her mom has been her everyday strength, her father, brother and family and friends has also been there to uplift her and support her all the way....
To her mother, Mrs. Norma De Jesus, and Aunt Josie Agdigos Lumang, we cannot thank you enough for your undying love and support for CJ...being in the nursing home everyday is not easy task. Her mom has already lost so much weight taking care of her...

Just today, September 11,2016, great news has come...Christine Joy was weaned off of her trache and she can now breathe on her own!!! ...which leads her to finally be able to go home to the Philippines, where she can get more rehabilitation and will have better support from friends and families..Ultimately, she will have a better chance at life than just laying in bed in a nursing home for the rest of her life....
On behalf of CJ's family, we thank you in advance for your help, and pray that God blesses all of us in multiple ways for extending some help to CJ and DeJesus Family....the funds we donate will help Christine with her journey to the Phillippines for emergency care, transport and extensive rehabilitation...
