Help Beans Beat FIP
Hi my name is Serena & I’m raising money for my 8 month old kitten, Beans!
He was diagnosed with FIP when he was brought to the vet when I noticed he wasn’t eating, was very lethargic, & started to lose weight. The vet told me he had a temperature of 105, yellowing of his ears, & lost 2 lbs. Feline Infectious Peritonitis is a 100% fatal disease that stems from a virus that a large percentage of cats get and survive due to a mutation. I was told his outcome wasn’t looking great & the most humane thing to do would be to put him down. I’m currently in the process of getting a second opinion. A drug called GS-441542 is an 84 day injection treatment that has an approximately 80% efficacy rate but is very costly. I’m in the process of reaching out to FIP warriors (a group on Facebook) on how I can get my hands on this drug that has helped countless of other fur babies affected by this disease. I’m not ready to give up on my baby, as he is the most loving & caring kitten in the entire world. I don’t expect any donations from anyone but if you can help Beans, it’s so appreciated. I will continue to post updates on our little guy
