Help for Jen

Jennifer Reed Isaacs was diagnosed with Colon Cancer (stage 4) in October of 2014 via CT scan.   The disease was confirmed by colonoscopy and colon biopsy the same month. She had a liver biopsy and a received a port in early November and began chemo on November 12th.  She had lung biopsy in May 2015 and 5 radiation treatments to the right lung.  The right lobe of her liver was removed in September and nodules on the left lobe treated in October of the same year.  She has had several more surgeries since then including a hernia repair removal of a large ovary mass.  She has been on and off chemo for the last 3 and half years.   She spent the weekend before her 50th birthday in the hospital and was sent home with oxygen 24/7.  During her illness, she has not been able to work.   Rich, her husband has become the sole bread winner, her care taker, driver for doctor appointments and her biggest supporter.  Finances have been a struggle since she had to stop working.  I originally wanted to buy her a portable oxygen concentrator but have decided that she needs to make the decision for what she needs most.  It may be that she is struggling to pay for her medication or even gas to get to Chapel Hill to her doctors.  If it was me in her shoes, I would hope that someone would be willing to offer a helping hand.  Thank you in advance for your support.
