Saving Max

Teri's son Levi was camping over the weekend and his lovable dog Max was hit by a car. They took him to an emergency Vet in Estacada that did what they could for him there. This included staples, stitches, medication and X-rays. Besides the obvious visible wounds, they determined that all of his toes on his back leg have been smashed. They say Max needs to either have surgery or the toes need to be amputated.

Max is on some pretty high drugs at the moment to keep him comfortable however one of the two things  listed needs to be address very soon or serious infection will start.

Teri was able to pay the emergency Vet bill,  unfortunately her son Levi doesn’t have the money for the next step. Max is a very healthy dog other than this current situation so the last thing in the world we want is to have to put Max down. If however he doesn’t get the surgery or amputation he needs Max will have to be put down due to infections will take over and kill him.

Max is 5.5 yrs old and such a great dog!! Levi rescued him 5 years ago from an abusive/deplorable situation and they truly are the best of friends.

Please help us save Max!  Any amount will help.  If we raise the full amount then Max will receive the surgury to save his toes.  If we only recieve part, he will receive the amputation.
