Baby Ruby's Expensive Arrival

I am the maternal grandmother of  little Ruby Ann Catherine Pierce, who decided in February that she would rather not wait until the end of May to be born. She made her entry on February 21st, fourteen weeks early. Her mom, Julia, had developed pre-eclampsia, which threatened both her life and the baby's.  At this point Ruby is still in the NICU, but is expected to come home by her due date (May 26) or shortly thereafter.

Medical bills and other needs have been mountainous. Julia is currently unable to work due to their medical situation, and will not be able to work outside the home for some time, as Ruby is currently a "special needs" baby.

Julia, her husband Jeffrey, and baby Ruby could use a hand-UP, not a hand-out. They are giving people and will pay forward when they are once again able to.

Funds raised in this campaign will be used against Ruby's medical bills and getting her settled at home with any necessary monitoring equipment. Thank you, in advance, for any amount that you can contribute.
