Cancer Stinks but Sarah Smiles
I remember when Sarah and I became "work friends" 16 years ago...I don't remember when we became friend friends, but I do know why.
We became friends because Sarah Beth has a big 'ol heart of gold. She loves all things kittie kitties, Texas A&M, her hubby and the warmth of sunlight kissing her skin. Sarah Beth is couragous, kind, smart and funny - her gleeful spirit makes for an easy kinship.
Over the years, I have witnessed Sarah give her all to go above and beyond to ensure women and men get the health care they deserve - especially when they struggled to afford it.
Sarah also really cares deeply for her friends and fellow staff members. She goes the extra mile for them to make them feel special. When life get tough, Sarah helps see them through the hard times with love and compassion.
Now it's her turn to receive care as she bravely faces another battle to win back her health and I hope you can help.
Thankfully Sarah has health insurance - but she and her husband need some help covering the sky rocketing out-of-pocket expenses for her life saving cancer treatments.
Last week, she completed her first week long round of chemo and she has a long road ahead of her.
Please consider making a donation to help ease the strain on Sarah and her family.
The past 7 years have been pretty rough for my girl ---
