Katie A Mother In Need!!!

Hello my name is Kim and I feel blessed to call Katie Rash my friend.  Katie is not only an amazing friend but also an incredible mother and a very dedicated, hard worker.  If you have met Katie at one time or another she has made you smile and gave you best customer service when waiting on you at the Boat House.   When my husband Rob suffered a closed head injury on November 13th due to a seizure he spent the next week fighting for his life until he succumb to his injuries and passed on Nov 20th.  Katie was there to support me and my children during that time and she continues to help pull me through when my days become to dark. I now need to try and be some light to Katie and her family during her darkest days and I am hoping you can too.

Katie was just diagnosed with Stage 1 Cervical Cancer and her hysterectomy surgery is set for May 24th.  Because Katie is still so young their hope is that they can save her ovaries so her body can still naturally produce estrogen. Once her surgery is complete they will then determine if radiation is necessary.

After Katie's surgery she will have a 4-6 week recovery time which she will be unable to work and will have to focus on recovering. Because Katie is the sole financial provider for her home and her 2 girls that are 12 and 2 she has never been able to get a head and have a nest egg incase something like this happens.

Please help relive some financial burden from Katie so she can focus on her health and recovery so she can get well again to continue to be the amazing mother, sister, aunt and friend that she has always been. Anything you can give or even just by passing this along would make all the difference in the world to her and her family.
