community project

As many people are aware friends and I have been working endlessly to paint clean and improve conditions for children at a facility in Bridgeport CT. This facility also serves the community on a daily basis with any needs they have. Unfortunately we have all used our personal resources and are coming to an end because let's be honest none of us are financially equipped to handle all of this. I'm asking for a little help to finish up what I really want to give these children. There's a very rundown back yard we can easily transform into a beautiful space, we want to be able to pay for some work done by professionals to keep these kids safe and we'd love to start working on a project to have a functional kitchen. Currently the children are given meals on a donation basis and when someone comes in hungry or needing some personal items we can only give what we have available. I would like to improve that entire process. I met a woman with a little girl and she needed food and I couldn't provide enough and it broke me. I believe that together we can help guide this community and show them that they do matter to us especially these children. I want this facility that they spend so much time in to be there safe sanctuary. Where they learn, and play, and are surrounded in beauty. Please help. Every little bit will do something special.
