Doctoral Student MacBook Pro Replacement

Thanks for visiting my page. I am currently a 2nd year doctoral student in Education at Syracuse University. On February 11, 2013 I returned to my off-campus apartment to find that my apartment was broken into, and my MacBook Pro was stolen. My roles and responsibilities as a doctoral student, and Teacher's Assistant require me to have a working laptop. 

Currently, I do not have the funds to replace my laptop. The balance is reflective of what it would cost to replace the computer that was stolen. This estimate is reflective of a Macbook Pro 13' laptop with AppleCare via apple.com. Although, I would like to get the same laptop, I am not opposed to getting a laptop that is not a Macbook Pro. No donation is too small. I appreciate your help and words of encouragement!
