Claire and Naomi Wignall NF1 Treatment and bills
Donation protected
My name is Debbie Jones and along with my fiance, Mike Fry, I'm trying to raise funds for our 2 1/2 year old twin granddaughters Claire and Naomi Wignall. They were diagnosed with NF1, Neurofibromatosis type 1. This is a genetic disease. Claire has exhibited more symptoms than Naomi, so they did an MRI of her brain. It showed a tumor. The results came back that her tumor is malignant, which means she must undergo many treatments of chemotherapy and have a mediport surgically implanted in order to have the chemo as well as other medications she will and may need. She has a long road ahead, at least 18 months. She will need an MRI of her spine. Naomi will also need MRI's of her brain and spine to determine if she has any tumors. NF1 is diagnosed after seeing such symptoms as GAL's, then seeing a pediatrician who refers you to a series of Drs. For more information you can PM me or Mike Fry or check out NF1 online. Thank you so very much!
